If you are in a civil dispute involving a business, person, employee, or insurance company, you know how frustrating it can be to enforce your rights. If you contracted for something and didn't get the benefit of the deal you bargained for sometimes the only way to get results is through hiring an attorney and enforcing your rights under the law. We will navigate you through the trial from pre-litigation negotiations, filing the lawsuit, to discovery, to winning a jury or bench trial.
At Jeffers Law, no case is too big or too small. You will be treated with respect and honesty. Call today to get a free consultation. We set out the expected costs with a trial budget and do our best to stay within that budget. Sometimes surpises happen but you will always be kept up to speed on your case.

Probate is the formal legal process of administering the estate and will of a deceased person. However, proper estate management starts well before a person dies. If you are smart you will start planning before you are become ill. Do it for your family.
Everyone knows you need a will. But you should also get your Power of Attorney (POA) set up at the same time. Very frequently people become unable to act for themselves and are deemed incapacitated (mental illness, comma, dementia, Alzheimer's, drug overdose, etc.). Often times an incapacitated person will live for years if not decades in this state. If this happens, they need someone with the legal capacity to take care of their affairs such as paying rent, managing bank accounts, etc. If you act now while you are healthy, you can choose what person you want to manage your affairs if you become incapacitated. This is called your Power of Attorney. If you don't have a POA and become incapacitated a judge will choose who manages your affairs by issuing a Guardianship and/or Conservatorship over you and your estate.
